Make room for reflection in a conversation.

Wenxiang MCP brings all 64 hexagrams, random draws, and the site's existing cultural readings to AI clients that support remote MCP. Cultural reading and self-reflection. Random results do not predict fortune or the future and do not provide personalized destiny judgments.

Three tools

ToolInput and purpose
draw_hexagram{"language":"en"} · Draw six independent binary lines to form a hexagram
get_hexagram{"hexagram_id":1,"language":"en"} · Look up hexagram 1–64, its structure, and its sources
explain_hexagram{"hexagram_id":1,"language":"en"} · Read the existing theme, observation, and reflection question

All three tools accept optional language: zh-CN (简体中文), zh-Hant (繁體中文), or en (English). Omitting it keeps the original Simplified Chinese response. Unsupported languages are rejected.

Drawing convention

Lines run from bottom to top: 0 is yin and 1 is yang. Each is independent and equally likely, so each hexagram has probability 1/64. The mapping uses King Wen order, with no moving lines or changed hexagram. Calling the draw tool again makes a fresh draw.

Readings reuse Wenxiang's existing image clauses from the Zhouyi and original modern reflections. Every response includes its language, Chinese original, source, content version, and an explanation of the site's editorial translations.

Static editorial cultural readings by this site. Traditional Chinese and English translate its Chinese reflections. English image clauses are the site's own explanatory renderings, not a newly cited authoritative classical translation; the Chinese original is supplied separately. No runtime generation.
